Our story

We're from here

Country Web Design works out of Dora, Alabama — a town where the hardware store still knows your name and a handshake still counts for something. We wanted to build a web company that worked the same way.

Too many small businesses have been sold a website by somebody they never met, in a city they'd never visit, for a price nobody explained. Then the thing sits there — slow, half-finished, impossible to update — until they give up on it entirely and go back to word of mouth.

That's a shame, because a good website is one of the best deals in small business. It works nights, it never calls in sick, and it costs less than a part-time employee. It just has to be built right and looked after by somebody who cares whether it works.

So that's what we do. We take on a small number of projects at a time, we build every one by hand, and we stay on the hook after launch. If you call the number on this website, a person from Walker County will answer it.

You'll get a written scope and a fixed number before any work starts. If something changes mid-project, we tell you what it costs before we do it — not after.
