Privacy policy
What we collect, why, and who else is involved — in plain English.
Last updated October 15, 2026
We collect as little as we can, use it only to answer you, and never sell it. The rest of this page is the detail behind that sentence.
What we collect
When you use the contact form, we receive the details you type in: your name, business name, email address, phone number, the service you're interested in, and your message. We also record the date and time the message was sent and the IP address it came from, which helps us spot and block spam.
When you email or call us, we receive whatever you choose to share, along with your email address or phone number.
We don't run analytics or advertising trackers on this site, and we don't build profiles of visitors.
How we use it
We use your information to reply to you, to prepare a quote, and — if you become a client — to do the work and keep in touch about it. That's it. We don't sell, rent or trade your information, and we don't add you to a mailing list.
Where it goes
Contact form messages are delivered to our business inbox by email through our hosting and email provider, Hostinger. They're kept there for as long as they're useful for running the business — for example, so we can look back at what we discussed with you.
Other services this site relies on
A few third-party services help the site work. Each has its own privacy policy:
- Cloudflare sits in front of the site to keep it fast and protect it from attacks. It may set a strictly necessary security cookie and processes basic connection information such as your IP address.
- Google Fonts serves the typefaces you see, which means your browser requests font files from Google.
- jsDelivr serves the code library that draws the animated landscapes.
- Google Maps is embedded on the contact page. Google may set cookies when that map loads.
- Links to our social media profiles take you to those platforms, where their own policies apply.
Your choices
You can ask us what information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email info@countrywebdesign.com and we'll take care of it. We may need to keep some records where the law requires it, such as invoices.
Children
This site is meant for businesses and adults. We don't knowingly collect information from children under 13.
Changes to this policy
If we change how we handle information, we'll update this page and the date at the top.
